⇓in character⇓

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sure, go for it.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Ask first, but generally speaking I'm not opposed.

ROMANCE/FLIRTING: Love it.

SEXUAL CONTENT: Ask first, but generally speaking I'm not opposed.

PSYCHIC ABILITIES: Ask first, but generally speaking I'm not opposed.

MAGIC/POWERS: Ask first, but generally speaking I'm not opposed.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: He is missing the last two fingers (pinky and ring) on his left hand, but otherwise is a physically fit young adult male with no particular medical conditions of note.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: Please see "anything else" below for a discussion of the monsters in Mike's canon, which he does have trauma over, and which I will discuss my intended handling of in more detail. He is also sensitive to topics of monster transformation, cannibalism, and decapitated bodies.

BACKTAGGING: Yes; however, I usually prefer to keep threads current and may drop older ones. Please feel free to PM me if you'd like to continue a thread, or start a new one in place of an existing one!

FOURTH WALLING: Ask first, please!

THREADHOPPING: Sure, I'm all about the shenanigans, go for it.

CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR, BUT CAN STILL PLAY: I'd prefer to have a heads-up before encountering any visuals involving spiders!

CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR AND THAT I CAN'T PLAY: Not applicable! I will assume the risk of communicating to my thread partners if a thread goes in a direction that makes me uncomfortable, but I don't require any bright-line boundaries set in advance.

ANYTHING ELSE: The supernatural antagonists of Until Dawn are termed "wendigos" and in-universe are malevolent, non-corporeal spirits that possess starving humans and compel them to engage in cannibalism, which is the catalyst for allowing the wendigo to take control of the human altogether. This possession is accompanied by a physical transformation that includes severe emaciation, elongation of limbs, the growth of far too many teeth, and most significantly, a change in eyesight that strengthens the wendigo's ability to track movement but severely weakens its perception of things that are not moving. Mike encounters several of these creatures over the course of Until Dawn and, understandably, has strong negative opinions about them.

As a player, I understand that Supermassive's decision to draw on First Nations culture and folklore when developing their supernatural antagonists for Until Dawn is potentially appropriative. For the purposes of playing Mike, I will be treating "wendigos" as a unique monster developed solely for the purposes of Until Dawn that happens to share a name with the entity from First Nations folklore, and will not reference or draw on any external folklore outside of the mythology presented within the narrative of the game itself.

I also strongly encourage any players with concerns about the above to communicate with me about them. Thank you!
